[가사]내가 중학생이 됐을때, 사람들 얼굴을 잘 기억하지 못하는 내 자신을 발견했다. 여기서 중요한 건 다른 기억력과는 무관하다는 것이다. 다른건 정말 잘 기억했다 그런데 사람 얼굴은 난 잘 기억하지 못했다. 하지만 다행이도 아주 특별한 사람의 얼굴은 생각이 나는 듯하다. 초등학교때 내이름을 늘 거꾸로 부르시던 옆반 담임선생님이라던가 아주 괴짜녀석 동네 친구라던가 그렇다면 내가 정말 특별히 사랑하는 사람의 얼굴이라면 당연히 기억할수 있지 않을까? 그렇다면 다행이다. 난 그 무렵 그걸 걱정하고 있었다. 그렇지만 난 꿈속에서는 그의 얼굴을 기억하고 싶지 않다. 왜냐하면 꿈속에서 자신이 좋아하는 사람의 얼굴을 자세히 기억하면 그 사람과 인연이 없다고 하는 소리를 어디선가 들은적이 있다. 그래서 난 꿈속에서는 사랑하는 사람의 얼굴은 보고 싶지 않다. 그리고 참고로 7년이 지난 지금 나는 아직도 사람의 얼굴을 잘 기억하지 못한다.
